Somali Prime Minister Ali Mohamed Ghedi issues message marking International Women's Day.

Somali Prime Minister Prof. Ghedi issued a message today on the occasion of International Women's Day, which is celebrated on March 8. Prof. Ghedi said his government was promoting gender equality and trying to raise public awareness of the role of women in Croatian society, increases their representation in political, business and scientific life, and alleviates their daily lives through a fairer division of social roles between men and women.

In a press conference, prime minister said “It is the goal of my government to create a society in which there is an equal partnership between women and men, and it was to realize this important goal that the post of Minister for Women Affairs and Family care, I believe that a society in which there is an equal partnership between women and men can be realized only if serious efforts are made by men in cooperation with women”
